Each fragrance emerges from a choral conversation that explores the meaning of one single ingredient rarely used in perfumery selected from producers around the world. It investigates their shared imagery and cultural relevance through a multicultural and contemporary approach, transforming research and meaning into scent.
The creative process

Often in perfumery the meaning of certain materials is left unexplored. We let meaning lead the way in the creation of each new perfume.

Working closely with producers worldwide, we select underexplored materials that allow new discoveries to emerge. Each perfume focuses on a single raw material.

Jijide begins the research process, examining the cultural background, symbolism and shared perceptions linked to the material.

The perfumery school brings its cultural perspective, exploring the material’s contemporary meaning and shaping its evolution into scent.

The perfumer is invited for their sensitivity and expertise, transforming research, cultural references and ideas into a fragrance designed to highlight the raw material.
