Jin U and Cin Fan: Between Expression and Silence

The Personalità Collection expresses itself through different colours, each representing a true vibration of the soul.

Like finding yourself within an intensely green landscape you would never wish to leave.

Jin U is born within this space a suspended non-place between reality and imagination. It describes us without ever fully revealing itself. Here, perfumery becomes vegetal, bitter, wild, and alive. In its green radiance, JIN U releases an oxygenating, invigorating energy, almost phosphorescent, filling the eyes with colour, infusing the air with chlorophyll, awakening the heart.

Its ever-changing form, moved by the wind and naturally perfect, speaks of humanity’s belonging to nature. As a source of life itself, JIN U traces upon the skin a delicate, primordial shiver. We surrender to the vertical lift of citrus, the natural elegance of cypress and Bulgarian rose, and a mineral heart of vetiver and musk.

I imagine Vincent van Gogh painting Wheatfield with Crows in 1890, confined in the asylum of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, capturing the vibrant greens of a living field. The wind within the painting seems to sweep away the turbulence of the soul, marking a moment where nothing remains still — everything moves, everything transforms. The dynamic expressiveness of the brushstrokes captivates the viewer, offering a sense of hope and rebirth one might never expect from the artist’s circumstances at the time.

A non-place that inevitably reveals itself.

If JIN U is expanding energy, CIN FAN becomes its counterpart: a space of gathering inward, a suspended instant where slowness opens access to a world that usually remains silent.

Time loses density, space dissolves, and the moment lingers, measured by soft breaths and a mind turned toward listening.

CIN FAN finds authenticity through subtraction. Within the order and quiet of a garden, or a window opened onto it, the fragrance unfolds its beauty, ready simply to be observed.

The grace of a contemplative moment, mysterious and rarefied, like a garden wrapped in stillness: petit grain, neroli and geranium move in meditative harmony, while soft woods in the base envelop the skin like fine fabrics.

Girl Reading a Letter at an Open Window by Johannes Vermeer, painted between 1657 and 1659, captures that same instant of delicate introspection: intimacy, pause, and life itself.

The painting offers tactile impressions: the drapery echoing the softness of woods, the plum hinted at through the fruit detail, and the open window beyond which I like to imagine a garden in full bloom.

And yet everything remains suspended, the narrative unknowable, like the thoughts of the young woman herself.
